We are thrilled to welcome our students back to Somerville Public Schools for the 2024-2025 school year! Whether you're a kindergartner taking your first steps in Van Derveer, a 6th grader making the leap to Somerville Middle School, or starting your journey as a pioneer at Somerville High School, we are so excited that you are here! We hope you are ready for a year full of learning, growth, and unforgettable experiences here that truly encompass all it means to be the Ville!

Somerville High School utilizes an A-Day/B-Day Class schedule. The Bell schedule can be found below:

Back to School Night will take place on different days for each school. On the day of their Back to School Night, schools will follow a one-session day schedule with early dismissal. The dates for each school are as follows:
Van Derveer School Back to School Night
Thursday, September 12th from 6:30 PM-8:00 PM
Somerville Middle School Back to School Night
Thursday, September 19th Doors open at 5:15 PM
Somerville High School Back to School Night
Thursday, September 26th Doors open at 6:00 PM
Board of Education meetings are held monthly at the Somerville Public Schools Headquarters at Somerville Middle School and streamed live on somervilleschools.org and YouTube. Dates and Times will be posted each month, along with a link to view the live stream.
