The Somerville Middle School choruses offer a fun and educational experience.  There are two choruses at SMS – the Concert Chorus and the Select Chorus.  The Concert Chorus welcomes all students regardless of experience or ability and provides a relaxed learning environment.  Students in the Concert Chorus are featured at two concerts and take part in a trip at the end of the school year.  Students become part of the Select Chorus through a competitive audition process. The Select Chorus generally performs more complex music similar to what students will encounter at Somerville High School.  The Select Chorus performs at many occasions in school and at community events.
