The media center supports the mission of Somerville High School by providing a student-centered learning environment that promotes individual excellence, promotes an appreciation of reading, and ensures that all students acquire the information literacy skills they need to guide them through the 21st Century. The library fosters an environment where students develop their technical skills to effectively learn, make informed decisions, and share knowledge with others as they become lifelong learners.
